The name “Gorschel” is a mix up of the words “Goldener Schnitt (= golden means)” und “Orgel (=organ)”.
All of the 13 keys are in respect to eachother and in themselves set up in a golden ratio.
The played sounds divide the hearable sound spectrum in the golden ratio, too.
The colors on the individual keys also do that with the visible color spectrum.
To make the prototype actually playable I programmed a small Guitar Hero clone, even with a persistable highscore list.
It will be displayed at the “Berlin Museum of Communication” in an upcomming exhibition.
